They will play a 3 hour set!
They will play all songs from 1st album!!
They will play 3 new songs!!!
Beautiful Colours is back on the set!!!!

The rumours were as many as the number of sold tickets.....and it was close to sold out this evening!

The band had previously announced that this gig would be something special, so all had high expectations.

First of all: Simon, if it is THAT hard to remember the lyrics to "A View To A Kill", I suggest you don't play it :-)
You have forgotten the lyrics far to many times on this tour....

Apart from the forgotten lyrics from time to time(yes, it happened more than once) this was one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time.
Sound was better than ever and the energy was boiling!
Speaking of sound: We had all expected to hear "Sound Of Thunder", so that was really no big surprise....
The only surprise was when they started the encore with "Make Me Smile(Come Up And See Me)....a song they have not played since the early eighties!!

"Taste The Summer" sounded better live than on record, but sadly they included this song in exchange for "Bedroom Toys". A song that have been extremly good live from time to time.

"The Reflex" have never been a live favourite of mine, but tonight it really rocked a**!
The crowd went bananas(Chiquita?) when Simon put on his "Chauffeur hat" during "The Chauffeur" and it was quite a performance of this song as well.

Acctually I am glad they have removed "Tiger Tiger"....they have played this in the last 5 shows I attended, so it was really time to let go.

Anna Smith is not only heavenly gorgeous...she also sings like an angel!
As Simon said during the band intro: ....And I am not allowed to touch!! Hehe...
Her performance on the "I Feel Love" part of "Sound Of Thunder" really blew me miles away :-)

A great show, but without the expected "something special" that we all had hoped for.

Now it's time to hit the streets of Amsterdam, and hopefully tomorrows gig will have the energy of the Birmingham gig....
Well performed guys......a definate 9 out of 10 for the performance, but only a 6 out of 10 for the "something special".
An amazing new stage by the way.....
